Mike Dow

Senior Consultant

Present

Mike Dow was a founding CCP Partner and now serves as a Senior Consultant. Based in Switzerland, he focuses primarily on European clients, but is also a resource for US clients. His responsibilities include business development, establishing successful project plans and client technology evaluations.

In addition to leading IT at Cianbro Corporation (an ENR 400 construction company) for 8 years, Mike has worked as project manager for a number of CMiC and J.D. Edwards (Oracle E-1) implementations. He has held leadership roles (including IT Director and CIO) for several construction organizations.  Mike specializes in IT department change, which often precedes a successful ERP implementation. He has a detailed understanding of the ERP implementation process and requirements. His expertise includes managing virtualization, network/routing, IT helpdesk, and application support/development projects. Mike has also held operational roles in several companies, including serving as General Manager for a structured cabling and fiber optic construction company in the early 2000s.

Mike has completed IT and ERP project evaluations for more than two dozen construction organizations.  He is a member of the Maine chapter of CFMA and has contributed articles to a number of industry publications. He is a regular speaker at CFMA and other industry events, both regional and national. Mike has a Bachelor’s in East Asian Studies from Middlebury College, Vermont. His career includes work in Asia, South America, Europe, and the Middle East. He is proficient in Mandarin and is currently studying German.
